Job Title: Laboratory Technician

This is a part-time, 24 hours/week daytime position in Brush, CO. The successful candidate will perform waived and non-waived tests in an accurate and timely manner with supervision.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform testing according to established policies and performance standards.
• Recognize and ensure validity of abnormal patient and/or QC results for testing.
• Ensure accuracy of test results and promote quality.
• Manage supplies and materials efficiently.
• Communicate effectively with internal and external customers.

Requirements:

• Associate degree in laboratory science or medical laboratory technology from an accredited institution.
• Equivalent laboratory training and experience meeting the CLIA regulation.
• Demonstrated competency in phlebotomy (departments where applicable).

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

• MLT certification (ASCP, AMT, HEW, AAB).
• Basic knowledge of specimen requirements and medical terminology.
• Previous experience with phlebotomy and processing.
