We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Crisis Intervention Specialist to provide immediate support and intervention to individuals experiencing emotional, psychological, or situational crises. The ideal candidate must have a Master of Social Work (MSW) or be a Licensed Master Social Worker (LMSW) and possess strong crisis assessment, de-escalation, and care coordination skills.

*Key Responsibilities:*
* Conduct crisis assessments and provide short-term intervention for individuals in distress.
* Develop and implement individualized crisis plans to stabilize clients and connect them with appropriate services.
* Collaborate with healthcare providers, social services, law enforcement, and community organizations to ensure coordinated care.
* Provide emotional support, risk assessment, and safety planning for clients experiencing acute crises, including mental health concerns, substance use issues, domestic violence, or housing instability.
* Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR) and ensure compliance with regulatory guidelines.
* Participate in on-call rotations as needed to respond to crisis situations promptly.
* Advocate for clients and assist with referrals to mental health treatment, housing services, legal support, and other community resources.

*Requirements:*
* Master’s degree in Social Work (MSW) required.
* Active LMSW (or eligibility for licensure) in NY required.
* At least 1-2 years of experience in crisis intervention, mental health, social services, or related fields.
* Strong clinical assessment, crisis de-escalation, communication, and problem-solving skills.
