Adding/removing replica and shard nodes in MongoDB cluster as needed.

Good knowledge of shard key and ensuring even distribution of data across multiple shards.

Converted replica set to sharded cluster due to data size growth and better query rate planning.

Knowledge on upgrades/migrations of replica sets and sharded clusters.

Deploying, migrating data, monitoring, analyzing, and tuning MongoDB.

In-depth knowledge of Ops Manager and its upgrades.

Knowledge about groups and projects in Ops Manager.

Knowledge about authentication and authorization, including X509 authentication.

Configured SSL key files to implement security across all mongod instances.

Extensive knowledge of MongoDB replication architecture and change streams.

Documenting MongoDB installation, operations, security, and auditing across multiple environments.

Knowledge of query plan architecture and performance tuning at host and database level.

Knowledge of range-based sharding and hash-based sharding/indexing.

Migration of MongoDB cluster to AWS.

Experience in building Replica Set/Shared Cluster.

Experience in upgrading MongoDB clusters (Replica Set/Shared Cluster).

MongoDB scaling across data centers and in-depth understanding of MongoDB HA strategies including replica sets and shared clusters.

Experience in initial sync of replica sets.

Experience in Oplog resize.

Ability to read and write tickets related to MongoDB issues.

Experience with issues related to slow secondary sync/Wired Tiger cache management.

Knowledge of arbiter for high availability.

Understanding of high Oplog generation and tuning the Oplog size accordingly.

Experience with MongoDump and MongoRestore.

Understanding of read/write concerns.

Salary Range: $62,500-$130,000 a year
