Job Title: Litigation Legal Assistant

Location: Seattle, Washington

Schedule: Hybrid/remote after 30-day onsite training

Salary : $90,000-$105,000 DOE

Employment Type: Full-time



Job Description:

LHH Recruitment Solutions is seeking a Litigation Legal Assistant for our client's Seattle office. This role supports litigation attorneys in a fast-paced environment, handling case filings, drafting legal documents, and managing deadlines. The ideal candidate has at least five years of federal court experience, expertise in complex litigation, and strong knowledge of federal court procedures and case management. Candidates should be proactive, highly organized, and team-oriented. On-site training is required before remote work flexibility is considered.



Responsibilities:

  • Oversee case management, including tracking deadlines, scheduling, and coordinating filings
  • Prepare and finalize legal documents for electronic filing across multiple jurisdictions
  • Ensure accuracy and completeness of filings, meeting all court deadlines and service requirements
  • Manage communications, including emails, mail, voicemails, and scheduling appointments
  • Organize and maintain case materials, including digital and physical legal documents
  • Coordinate travel arrangements and logistics for attorneys
  • Provide general administrative and legal support as needed



Qualifications:

  • 5+ years of litigation experience in both federal and Washington state courts
  • Extensive knowledge of federal court procedures, legal terminology, and case management
  • Experience drafting, finalizing, and filing legal documents in compliance with court rules
  • Proficiency with legal software and case management tools
  • Strong communication skills, with the ability to build relationships with attorneys, clients, and colleagues
  • Highly organized and detail-oriented, ensuring deadlines are met and priorities are managed effectively
  • Proactive and adaptable, able to anticipate needs, manage calendars, and track deadlines
  • Quick thinker with strong problem-solving skills, capable of handling urgent matters efficiently
  • Self-motivated and independent, with a strong work ethic and ability to work autonomously
