Litigation Paralegal


Location: Los Angeles, CA

Pay Range and Benefits: Up to $100K per year, along with Paid Time Off, Paid Sick Time and Holidays, Healthcare, Dental and Vision Coverage, 401k.

Position Type: Full-Time, Direct Hire, Hybrid (3 days onsite)


LHH is partnering with a fast-paced litigation law firm, located in Downtown Los Angeles in seeking an experienced and dedicated Litigation Paralegal to join their Complex Litigation team. As a Litigation Paralegal, you will play a pivotal role in managing complex litigation cases including Business Litigation, Real Estate Litigation, Commercial Collections, and Bankruptcy Litigation. This position requires a minimum of 3 years of relevant experience, strong organizational skills, proactive problem-solving abilities, meticulous attention to detail, excellent time management, and interpersonal skills.


Responsibilities:

  • Manage and organize Complex Litigation cases.
  • Assist attorneys in all aspects of trial preparation and trial support.
  • Proficiently handle Discovery processes.
  • Conduct legal research, gather, and analyze relevant documents and information.
  • Prepare and maintain case files, exhibits, and trial binders.
  • Assist in drafting and reviewing legal documents, including pleadings, motions, and discovery requests.
  • Coordinate with clients, opposing counsel, and expert witnesses as needed.
  • Manage and update case calendars, deadlines, and scheduling.


Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 3 years of experience in managing Complex Civil Litigation defense cases.
  • Proficiency in eDiscovery is a plus.
  • Strong organizational skills and the ability to handle a high caseload.
  • Knowledge of legal research methods and tools.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and legal case management software.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team.
  • Paralegal certification/degree or a Bachelor's degree from an accredited program.
