A dynamic firm is seeking a Billing Coordinator to join its accounting team. This role supports project managers and accounting operations to ensure accurate and timely billing processes, including AIA billing .
Key Responsibilities:
- Serve as the primary contact for project accounting inquiries, providing training on accounting software.
- Facilitate meetings with project managers to ensure accounting tasks are completed.
- Review client and consultant contracts to maintain project budgets and billing terms.
- Prepare and process AIA billing , ensuring compliance with contract requirements.
- Assist with AR follow-ups and resolve discrepancies.
- Set up new projects and validate accuracy in accordance with company policy.
- Prepare and finalize invoice packages, ensuring compliance with contracts.
- Support consultant accounts payable processes and validate invoices.
- Reconcile client payments and generate financial reports as needed.
- Assist with month-end, year-end, and audit processes.
- Identify process improvement opportunities to enhance billing efficiency.
Qualifications:
- 3+ years of billing or related experience (AEC industry preferred).
- Experience with AIA billing required.
- Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
- Excellent communication and organizational abilities.
- Proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel and Outlook.
- Experience with Deltek Vision and/or Vantagepoint preferred.
