Job Description

Summary: This role provides essential administrative and HR support, making it an excellent entry point for someone looking to gain experience in human resources. The ideal candidate will have a background in office administration or HR, with strong skills in Microsoft Office, scheduling, and organization. Responsibilities include assisting with onboarding, maintaining HR records, coordinating meetings and events, and supporting employee inquiries related to benefits and payroll. This position requires a friendly and professional demeanor, excellent communication skills, and the ability to manage multiple tasks while maintaining confidentiality.


Schedule:

  • Part-time , totaling 30 hours per week
  • Mon-Fri (6 hours / day) or Mon-Thur (7 ½ hours / day)


Requirements:

  • Basic understanding of Human Resources and office administration.
  • Previous office experience demonstrating proficiency in MS Office, especially Excel.
  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral.
  • Exceptional organizational abilities with attention to detail.
  • Ability to handle multiple tasks and maintain confidentiality.
  • Proficiency with MS Office including Excel and Outlook
  • Scheduling experience via Outlook
  • Friendly personality and willingness to complete tasks including greeting visitors, scheduling lunches, etc.


Responsibilities:

  • Assist with HR inquiries and prepare reports.
  • Coordinate new hire onboarding and maintain HRIS data.
  • Manage employee personnel files and ensure compliance.
  • Support benefits administration and respond to employee inquiries.
  • Perform general office tasks and assist with associate needs.
  • Assist in recruitment activities, including job postings and initial screenings.
  • Coordinate meetings and events, handling logistics and support.
  • Ensure I-9 compliance and other record-keeping requirements.
  • Assist with coordinating and managing meetings and events such as staff meetings, all-hands meetings, off-sites, team gatherings, etc., overseeing all calendaring, communication, technology, location and meal logistics, and related follow-up activities
