What you will be responsible for:
- Utilize a multimeter to troubleshoot electrical issues on production lines
- Test up to 480V and under with a Master Electrician
- Replace, test, and rewire motors and windings for single-phasing
- Troubleshoot PLCs and components, including diagnosing issues when parts are thrown off the circuit.
- Support process improvements and equipment upgrades to enhance efficiency and productivity.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, to minimize downtime.
- Read and interpret schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals to diagnose issues.
- Perform preventative maintenance on electrical, mechanical, and control systems.
- Assist with system modifications and upgrades under the guidance of the master electrician
Key Requirements:
- Associate’s degree in Automation, Robotics, Mechatronics, Electrical Engineering, or a related field.
- Internship or hands-on experience with automation, robotics, PLC programming, or troubleshooting.
- Experience with VFDs, PLCs, and basic electrical systems is a plus.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a team setting.
