About the Role
The Senior Financial Analyst will play a critical role in sales demand planning, corporate finance, and business analysis. Reporting directly to the Plant Controller, this individual will be responsible for forecasting sales demand, financial modeling, variance analysis, and supporting executive decision-making. This is a high-visibility role that offers autonomy, cross-functional collaboration, and direct exposure to senior leadership.
Key Responsibilities
? Sales Forecasting & Demand Planning: Maintain forecasting models, analyze demand trends, and generate regular reports on forecast vs. actual demand with gap analysis.
? Financial Planning & Analysis: Develop financial models for budgeting, forecasting (current year, rolling 12 months, and 3-year plans), and business performance reviews.
? Cross-Functional Collaboration: Partner with Sales, Finance, and Executive teams to provide data-driven insights for strategic decision-making.
? Sales & Operations Planning (S&OP): Support monthly S&OP meetings, facilitate alignment between teams, and document risks/opportunities.
? Variance Analysis & Reporting: Generate variance reports for sales and financial performance, identifying key drivers and trends.
? Process Improvement: Continuously refine demand planning processes, ensuring optimal inventory management and supply chain efficiency.
? Growth & Acquisition Support: Conduct financial analysis to evaluate growth projects and acquisition opportunities.
Who We're Looking For
Experience: 4–10 years in financial analysis, demand planning, or sales analysis within a manufacturing environment .
Education: Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (required).
Technical Skills: Advanced Excel skills (Power BI and ERP experience preferred).
AI & Analytics Interest: Open to leveraging AI tools for forecasting and data digitization.
Strong Communicator: Able to synthesize complex data into actionable insights for cross-functional teams and executives.
Problem-Solver: Analytical mindset with a proactive approach to identifying efficiencies and opportunities.
