Dispatcher - Plumbing Industry
Location: Torrance, CA (On-Site)
Pay Rate: $25 - $30/hr (Contract-to-Hire)
Schedule: Full-Time, with occasional overtime and weekend shifts. Must be comfortable being on-call 24/7 if needed.

Key Responsibilities
Coordinating & Dispatching Technicians
- Assign jobs to technicians based on urgency, skill level, and location to maximize efficiency.
- Adjust schedules and re-route technicians as issues arise , ensuring minimal downtime.
- Track job progress and technician locations to provide real-time updates to customers and management.
Customer Communication & Support
- Respond to incoming calls, emails, and service requests , gathering all necessary job details.
- Set clear expectations for customers regarding service timelines, technician arrival, and costs .
- Address customer concerns or scheduling conflicts with professionalism and problem-solving skills .
Administrative & Record-Keeping Duties
- Maintain accurate and detailed records of service requests, work orders, and technician assignments.
- Ensure all job details, technician notes, and customer interactions are documented and accessible .
- Work closely with the team to improve scheduling processes and workflow efficiency .
Qualifications
- 5+ years of dispatching experience required.
- Industry experience in Plumbing, HVAC, or Construction highly preferred.
- Bilingual in Spanish is a plus .
- Strong ability to juggle multiple calls and requests while staying organized.
