Job SummaryOverview: As the Director of Marketing, you will be responsible for leading and overseeing all marketing strategies and initiatives within Rose Paving, LLC. You will play a pivotal role in developing and executing comprehensive marketing plans to drive brand awareness, customer acquisition, and revenue growth. Your leadership will guide our marketing team in creating impactful campaigns, fostering brand loyalty, and maintaining a strong online and offline presence. This position reports directly to the Chief Operations Officer (COO) or equivalent executive leadership. This position in on-site and will work out of our Corporate Office in Bridgeview, IL
Key Responsibilities:Strategic Planning: Develop, implement, and continuously refine comprehensive marketing strategies aligned with the company's goals and objectives. Collaborate with senior management to ensure marketing efforts support overall business objectives.
Team Leadership: Provide strong leadership, management, and mentorship to the marketing team, fostering a culture of creativity, collaboration, and excellence. Delegate tasks effectively, set clear goals, and empower team members to achieve their full potential.
Vendor Management: Develop and strengthen key relationships with existing marketing partner and existing vendors. Identify and establish new relationships with additional vendors to support and enhance growth.
Brand Management: Oversee the development and maintenance of the brand identity, ensuring consistency across all marketing channels and collateral materials. Champion brand guidelines and standards to maintain brand integrity and enhance brand recognition.
Campaign Development: Lead the conceptualization, development, and execution of marketing campaigns across various channels, including digital, social media, email, print, and events. Monitor campaign performance and optimize strategies to maximize ROI and achieve key performance indicators (KPIs).
Market Research and Analysis: Conduct market research to identify industry trends, customer preferences, and competitive landscape. Utilize data-driven insights to inform marketing strategies and make informed decisions.
Digital Marketing: Oversee digital marketing efforts, including website management, SEO/SEM, content marketing, social media, email marketing, and online advertising. Stay abreast of digital marketing trends and technologies to drive innovation and efficiency.
Public Relations: Develop and maintain relationships with media outlets, industry influencers, and key stakeholders. Lead PR initiatives to enhance brand visibility, manage crisis communications, and cultivate positive brand perception.
Collaboration: Collaborate cross-functionally with sales and other departments to ensure alignment of marketing efforts with overall business objectives. Foster strong working relationships and effective communication with divisional leaders and sales directors.
Budget Management: Develop and manage the marketing budget, allocating resources effectively to support strategic initiatives and achieve desired outcomes. Monitor expenses and ROI to ensure optimal use of resources.
Reporting and Analysis: Track and analyze marketing metrics and KPIs to assess the effectiveness of marketing campaigns and initiatives. Prepare regular reports and presentations for senior management & board members providing insights and recommendations for optimization.
Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or related field; Master's degree preferred.
- Proven experience of 5-8 years in a senior marketing role, with a track record of success in developing and executing marketing strategies.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to Manage, inspire and motivate a team.
- Punctuality/meeting deadlines is key to this position.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Solid understanding of digital marketing techniques and tools.
- Strategic thinker with strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.
- Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
- Must be willing to travel up to 20% as needed.
- Experience in a B2B service-based business is a plus.
- Fluent in Microsoft Dynamics and/or Power BI is a plus.
- The understanding and utilization of effective AI in the marketplace is a plus.
