We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced attorney to join the Labor & Employment department at a premier international law firm. This is an off-track, reduced-hours, remote position offering flexibility and the opportunity to work with a dynamic team of legal professionals.
Key Responsibilities :
- Handle single plaintiff actions involving discrimination, harassment, restrictive covenants, trade secret misappropriation, and whistleblowing.
- Manage employment class actions and wage-and-hour collective actions.
- Respond to demand letters, draft position statements, and handle all aspects of discovery (including eDiscovery).
- Research and draft motions, briefs, and other legal documents.
- Prepare for witness interviews, depositions, and hearings; take or defend depositions.
- Collaborate with expert witnesses; prepare for arguments, arbitrations, hearings, and trials.
- Provide advice and counseling on workplace law issues, including wage and hour, ADA accommodations, employment agreements, separations, and employment policies.
Preferred Qualifications :
- Minimum of 8 years of experience in employment litigation.
- AM Law 50 experience only
- Proven track record of managing single plaintiff and class/collective actions.
- Experience with depositions, expert witness preparation, and all phases of litigation.
- Strong research, writing, communication, and analytical skills.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively with team members.
- Experience providing legal advice on workplace laws, policies, and risk mitigation.
- Management-side law firm experience is required.
Compensation & Benefits :
- Reduced schedule.
- Salary range: $200,000 - $275,000, commensurate with experience.
- Fully remote position.
