We are seeking to add a dedicated and skilled Litigation Attorney who will work collaboratively with our legal team.
Responsibilities:
- Represent clients in all phases of litigation in court proceedings.
- Draft and review legal documents such as pleadings, discovery, and briefs.
- Conduct legal research and interpret laws, rulings, and regulations for currently pending cases.
- Develop litigation strategies and present cases to the senior team/clients for review.
- Arbitrate disputes, mediate conversations, and come up with settlement agreements.
- Meet with clients, initiate communication with witnesses to take statements and delivery of information.
- Coach and mentor junior legal staff for their professional development.
- Keep up with changes to the law and inform team about advancements or modifications in the legal world.
- Ensure confidentiality and maintain professionalism at all times.
Qualifications:
- Juris Doctorate (J.D.) Degree from an accredited law school.
- Admitted to the State Bar and in good standing.
- Proven experience as a litigation attorney.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Ability to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
- Proficient in MS Office and legal research tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
- High degree of professional ethics and integrity.
Experience: Minimum of 3-5 years of legal experience, preferably in commercial litigation.
