  • BLS
    Job Requirements
  • BLS certification required
  • Ok for first-time travelers
  • Prefer experience with trach and BiPAP, not required
  • RNs required to titrate drips
  • Lasix, Heparin drip experience preferred
  • Charge Nurse on each shift
  • RN not required to read and interpret telemetry strips
    Schedule Information
  • Shifts: 0700-1930, 1900-0730; may consider block scheduling
  • Weekend Requirement: Every other
  • Holiday Requirement: As needed
  • No Call or Standby requirement
  • Floating to other MedSurg units as needed
  • No specific scrub color; dress code as per facility standards
    Unit Specific Information
  • # of Beds: 31
  • Nurse to Patient Ratios: Days 1:4-5, Nights 1:5-6
  • Common diagnoses/Types of patients: Adults and geriatrics, Strokes, HTN, COPD, Cellulitis, CHF, and more
  • Tele/monitor techs available on unit
