A growing AdTech is looking to expand its legal function and hire a Legal Counsel to join the team. This individual would report to their legal head of the Americas and focus on providing legal support for commercial transactions. This is an exciting opportunity to join a leader in the advertising industry as they continue to scall the company globally. This individual can sit out of NYC or CHI office on a hybrid schedule.

Responsibilities:

• Handle a range of commercial transactions and work cross functionally with engineering and product teams to provide legal support as need be
• Draft, review, and negotiate both inbound and outbound agreements, including NDAs and licensing agreements
• Provide legal and strategic business advice to internal units across the business and consistently stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations
• Collaborate with the head of Americas and other individuals within the legal function on general corporate matters

Requirements:

• Minimum of 5 years of experience at both a top law firm and in-house at a technology company
• Experience within the AdTech, MarTech, or MediaTech space preferred
• Strong foundation in handling both technology and advertising agreements
• Ability to collaborate and excel in fast pace environments
• JD and admission to a state bar
