As a Project Manager, you will spearhead the implementation of Project Management methodologies and practices to drive organizational initiatives, strategies, and processes. Your primary responsibilities will include coordinating with cross-functional teams, collaborating with stakeholders, and managing vendor partnerships to ensure the successful delivery of projects aligning with the business unit's objectives and member service needs. This role demands a strategic mindset coupled with operational acumen to establish and manage expectations effectively across business and technical teams.
Key Responsibilities:- Lead organizational projects throughout their lifecycle, ensuring adherence to project management standards and best practices.
- Manage project scope, schedule, and budget, facilitating cross-functional communication and collaboration.
- Resolve high-level conflicts and provide guidance to project teams to ensure appropriate resource allocation and subject matter expertise.
- Communicate project status updates and feedback to team members, stakeholders, and senior management through effective written and verbal communication.
- Manage vendor relationships, overseeing project requirements definition, implementation efforts, and issue escalations.
- Assist in managing the credit union's project portfolio, ensuring alignment with organizational goals and priorities.
- Foster organizational competence and teamwork to support strategic projects, products, and services.
- Stay updated on innovative technologies and project management methods, making recommendations to enhance project delivery.
- Collaborate with business units to develop and maintain innovative, member-centric solutions aligned with organizational goals.
- Demonstrate a service-oriented mindset, prioritizing member service and experience.
- Support performance management by developing, training, and coaching team members in project responsibilities and project management discipline.
Qualifications:- Minimum of three to five years of progressive experience in project management, business analysis, or continual service improvement.
- Experience with software implementations and support; system conversions experience is advantageous.
- Proficiency in problem analysis and resolution at both strategic and functional levels.
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification required or ability to obtain within 12 months.
- Bachelor's degree in project management, business, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
