JOB SUMMARY
Our Fortune 75 MSO client is looking for a Business System Analyst with 3+ years of industry experience to support their Plan of Record Team. In this position you will be responsible for defining and establishing business rules for large cross-functional Core and Mobile projects. The role involves but is not limited to documenting requirements and user stories detailing robust, high-level requirements for all impacted teams for all new work and requirements for enhancements of existing in-flight projects.
MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Responsible for eliciting, validating, verifying, and documenting project requirements from impacted stakeholders; acting SME on all projects assigned
- Translate high-level business needs into User Stories to illustrate the purpose of functional requirements, always with a clear and concise understanding of the customer experience
- Comprehensive understanding of the customer order flow of Spectrum Services (supported by order entry tools) to the rendering of services (enabled by activation platforms), accurately billing a customer (through billing systems and processes), and providing customer support (through troubleshooting tools)
- Leads meetings and working sessions with cross-functional stakeholder groups to drive collaboration
- Provide recommendations to management for critical, timely decisions
- Responsible for leading multiple projects simultaneously
- Ensures that all requirements artifacts' structure, content, and integrity are maintained
- Serves as a point of escalation to project managers and project leaders
- Performs other duties as requested
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS
Required Skills/Abilities and Knowledge
- Strong communication necessary to converse over the phone, and by written communication in a clear, straightforward, and professional manner
- Bachelor’s degree in a related field or equivalent work experience
- Willingness and ability to work 100% in office. No hybrid or WFT policy. Some travel required.
- Robust insight into the customer life cycle and how inherent systems and processes enable it
- Strong organizational and time management skills – the person in this position will work on multiple projects with multiple stakeholders concurrently
- Ability to prioritize and organize effectively and manage multiple projects and assignments
- Ability to develop strong working relationships with peers and project members
- Excellent critical thinking skills
- Working understanding of Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, and Word
- Detail-oriented; ability to analyze business objectives and goals on an investigative level
- Partnership to support QA, UAT, and ORT in launch activities by participating in defect review, test planning, and strategy sessions
- Capacity to work independently with minimal guidance and acumen to escalate to leadership when necessary
- Maintains a positive, forward-thinking professional demeanor under pressure
- Proven ability to perform effectively in a fast-paced environment
