Job Overview

We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced HR Specialist to join our dynamic team. The role involves managing the employee lifecycle, ensuring compliance with U.S. labor laws, and supporting HR administrative functions. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in U.S. HR practices and be proficient in both English and Mandarin.


Key Responsibilities

  • Employee Lifecycle Management
  • Oversee onboarding, probation assessments, internal transfers, promotions, and offboarding processes.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date employee records in HR systems.
  • Compliance and Policy Management
  • Ensure compliance with U.S. labor laws and company policies.
  • Assist in drafting and implementing HR policies aligned with local regulations and organizational goals.
  • Coordinate with legal teams to manage employee visas and work authorizations as needed.
  • Administrative Support
  • Prepare employment contracts, related documentation, and other required materials.
  • Address employee HR-related inquiries and collaborate with other departments to resolve issues.
  • Organize HR-related activities, including training sessions and team-building events.
  • Reporting and Analysis
  • Generate regular HR data reports, such as turnover rates, headcount, and employee satisfaction surveys.
  • Provide actionable insights to enhance employee satisfaction and retention.


Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field.
  • 2–4 years of HR experience, preferably in retail or consumer goods industries.
  • Solid understanding of U.S. labor laws and regulations.
  • Bilingual proficiency in English and Mandarin (spoken and written).
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and HRIS systems.
  • Exceptional organizational skills and the ability to manage multiple tasks effectively.
