The KBR team is over 1,000 people strong, providing not only life support services such as water treatment, electricity, and telecom/antenna maintenance, but also quality of life services like Morale, Welfare, and Recreation (MWR) and an award-winning dining facility.nnJob SummarynnUnder the supervision of the IDIQ Manager, the position is responsible for managing all aspects of the operation and construction of Indefinite Delivery Indefinite Quantity (IDIQ) and CapEx Projects.nnManaging the construction delivery team to ensure all activities are provided in compliance with the project deliverables.nnRoles and ResponsibilitiesnnR esponsibilities include the liaison with the engineering firm for the project, and preparation of executive reports, initiation of progress reporting systems and interfacing with client representatives.nnEvaluate all construction drawings and ensure accuracy in implementation of same and maintain an effective construction schedule for both engineering and construction department.nnAssist in all special projects and perform on site visits and ensure compliance to all project specifications and guidelines.nnActs as the channel of communications with the Contractor on all matters relevant to the satisfactory completion of the works under the contract.nnSupervises the works to ensure that they are carried out in accordance with the contract.nnSupervises in general the methods adopted by the Contractor for the execution of the works undertaken by him in order to ensure the satisfactory execution.nnChecks that all notices and wayleaves are arranged in a timely manner .nnEnsures that there is no delay in providing the Contractor with full information required for the ordering of Prime Cost Items.nnSupervises and records any tests of materials.nnEnsures that up-to-date record drawings are produced.nnEnsures that progress photographs are taken and maintained .nnMaintains careful notes of all disputes arising out of the interpretation of the contract so that, if necessary, the form of contract and specification can be amended for similar future works.nnAssures implementation of the company's Safety Policy.nnNotifies the Contractor and others of any hazardous situations.nnBasic QualificationsnnMust have a valid driver’s license and be able to obtain U.S. Government driver’s license.nnMust possess high level leadership skills.nnMust possess high level customer relations skills.nnMust have knowledge of construction management processes, means, methods, building products, construction details and relevant rules, regulations and quality standards.nnUnderstanding of all facets of the construction process.nnPreferred QualificationsnnEDUCATION:nnBS Degree in Construction Management, Architecture, Engineering or equivalent is preferred.nnEXPERIENCE:nnTen (10) years minimum total experience in Construction Management with Five (5) years as Supervisor or Superintendent of various construction projects.nnKBR BenefitsnnKBR offers a selection of competitive lifestyle benefits which could include 401K plan with company match, medical, dental, vision, life insurance, AD&D, flexible spending account, disability, paid time off, or flexible work schedule.
