We’re Hiring: School Social Worker for SY 24-25

RESPONSIBILITIES:

• Participate in the development of curriculum with particular emphasis on social-emotional behaviors;
• Provide regular consultation to program staff and parents in matters pertaining to the social-emotional needs of students;
• Participate as a member IEP Team (Individualized Educational Planning Team)
• Develop and implement intervention strategies to promote academic success and emotional well-being.
• Participate in creating and implementing school-wide initiatives to enhance the overall school climate.
• Providing psychosocial support : Offering individual and group counseling to help students
• Conducting assessments : Determining factors that impact a student's behavior and performance

QUALIFICATIONS:

• Must have School Social Worker License in IL
• Valid Illinois Professional Educator License (PEL) with a School Social Worker endorsement.
• Experience working with children, adolescents, and families in an educational setting is a plus.
