My gear machining/manufacturing client wants to bring on CNC turning lathe machinists !

Pay= $23-$30 depending on experience.

Work Experience:

Must have 3+ years related experience/or training: or equivalent combination of education and experience.

Job Summary:

Set up, adjust and operate CNC equipment to exacting dimensional and finish requirements. Select cutters, feeds, speeds and program.

Personal Characteristics:

Results oriented with the ability to pay strong attention to detail. The successful candidate needs to be a pro-active self-starter that can work independently. Excellent analytical and organizational skills are required for this position.

Principal Area of Responsibility:

• Loads and unloads own machine, assists and instructs others per supervisor’s request
• Operate, adjust and upload equipment as necessary
• Meets quality standards and does setups on all assigned jobs
• Ensure all projects/parts comply with required specifications and meet quality standards
• Checks own work to insure it is meeting process and blueprint requirements
• Maintain equipment and cleanliness of working area
• Perform quality checks daily and assist with duties as needed

Specific Duties:

• Edit and proof new programs
• Develops program to produce product as specified
• Informs supervisor of supplies and need for replacement
• Completes routine inspection to ensure quality product
• Complete duties as assigned in a timely manner
• Ability to identify and correct conditions that affect employee safety
• All other duties and activities as assigned or necessary
