About the Role
The Company is seeking a VP of Operations to play a pivotal role in the strategic and operational leadership of the organization. The successful candidate will be a key driver in shaping business strategy, overseeing day-to-day operations, and ensuring the smooth execution of the company's publishing platform. This includes print, audiobooks, and TV. The role demands a strategic leader who can partner with the CEO and the rest of the leadership team to define and implement the company's vision, particularly in the context of the company's mission to be a next-gen entertainment powerhouse. Operational excellence is a core focus, requiring the VP to work closely with cross-functional teams to establish efficient processes, manage resources effectively, and drive continuous improvements for consistent performance and growth.Applicants for the VP of Operations position at the company should be autonomous, data-driven, and quick to action, with a proven track record of bringing solutions to the table. The role requires a leader with a minimum of 8 years' experience in business operations, preferably within the technology sector, and a background that includes experience in consumer technology. The ideal candidate will be a creative problem-solver, an excellent financial modeler, and a deep analytical thinker, capable of crafting a compelling story from data. Strong communication, organizational, and leadership abilities are essential, as is the aptitude for decision-making and problem-solving. A background in investment banking or management consulting is a plus, and a BSc/BA in business administration is required, with an MSc/MBA being advantageous.
