About the Role

The Company is seeking an Executive Director to lead its nonprofit organization, which is dedicated to fostering economic growth and improving the quality of life in rural communities. The successful candidate will be responsible for the financial, operational, administrative, and legal aspects of the organization, including annual fund development, public relations, and marketing. This role involves effective liaison with various stakeholders and the coordination of diverse groups to ensure the implementation of the organization's strategic plan. The Executive Director will also oversee program development, and management, and ensure legal compliance and fiscal accountability.Applicants for the Executive Director position at the company should have a Bachelor’s degree in nonprofit management or a related field, with a Master’s degree preferred, and a minimum of 5 years experience in senior-level administrative management. The role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and a proven record in fundraising, grant writing, and resource development. The ideal candidate will have a deep understanding of rural development issues and community needs, as well as the ability to build and maintain relationships with a diverse range of stakeholders. Experience in not-for-profit accounting, financial analysis, and expertise in program and fiscal accountability are essential. The Executive Director will also be responsible for personnel management, including hiring, supervision, and evaluation of staff and volunteers.
