JOB SUMMARY FOR JAVA API DEVELOPER:

• We are seeking a Java API Developer to join our leading client's team.
• Pay Range: $80- $90/hour depending on experience and benefits.

RESPONSIBILITIES FOR JAVA API DEVELOPER:

• Weekly feature requirements review, work breakdown / implementation plan creation, story point estimation, sprint planning, etc.
• Build upon the telematics data platform which drives the digital applications to meet organizational goals.
• Work on a fast-moving agile development team on all phases of software development, attending daily standups and contributing to team design and planning sessions.

REQUIRED EXPERIENCE FOR JAVA API DEVELOPER:

• Computer Science / Engineering degree with 8+ years of experience working in software development
• Masters degree with 6+ years of experience working in software development
• Java 11+
• Spring Boot
• API development: design and architecture, security best practices, OAuth 2.0
• AWS
• RDBMS: query optimization, database management, and data modeling
• CI/CD
• Great communicator (English), able to share technical details in an understandable manner and give accurate status updates
• Proactive in seeking information and sharing ideas
• Committed to team success
