Summary

We are seeking an experienced and knowledgeable Mechanical Construction Project Manager to lead and manage ground-up commercial projects . The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of all MEP (Mechanical, Electrical, and Plumbing) trades and the ability to oversee complex systems from design through project completion. Experience Required

• Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Mechanical Project Manager in the construction industry.
• Proven experience managing MEP systems for ground-up commercial projects (e.g., office buildings, retail, education, healthcare, or industrial facilities).

Job Responsibilities

• Project Oversight: Manage all aspects of MEP systems for ground-up commercial construction projects, including planning, execution, and closeout.
• Budget & Cost Control: Develop and manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost reports to ensure financial objectives are met.
• Schedule Management: Create and maintain project schedules, ensuring all MEP milestones are met.
• Team Leadership: Coordinate with subcontractors, suppliers, and internal teams to deliver high-quality results on time.
• Design Coordination: Review and analyze MEP designs, working with architects, engineers, and consultants to address challenges and ensure constructability.
• Quality Assurance: Monitor installation processes to ensure adherence to project specifications, industry standards, and safety regulations.
• Problem Solving: Identify and mitigate risks or conflicts, ensuring issues are resolved efficiently and effectively.
• Client Communication: Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, providing regular updates and addressing concerns throughout the project lifecycle.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate project records, including RFIs, submittals, change orders, and progress reports.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechanical Engineering, Construction Management, or a related field preferred.
• Strong knowledge of MEP systems, including HVAC, plumbing, and electrical installations.
• Proficiency in construction management software such as Procore, Bluebeam, or similar tools.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with local building codes and safety regulations.
• OSHA 30 certification is a plus.
