Job Title: Industrial Engineer
Location: Onsite - San Antonio
Hours: Monday-Friday, 7 AM - 4 PM. Overtime may be required, primarily on Fridays, with occasional Saturdays depending on project needs.
Pay: $31.00 - $40.00 per hour, depending on experience.
Contract Duration: 6 months with potential for extension based on project requirements.
Requirements:
- Minimum 3 years of experience, preferably in the Automotive/Truck industry.
- Engineering degree (Mechanical, Industrial, or Manufacturing preferred).
- Extensive experience with AUTOCAD (2D and 3D layouts).
- Manufacturing experience (line balance, PFMEA, process mapping, standard work, etc.).
- Experience with manufacturing tooling and equipment installation.
Responsibilities:
- Support engineering projects by developing technical drawings that translate engineering and architectural designs into detailed plans.
- Collaborate with engineers and other professionals to clarify design specifications.
- Update layouts using AUTOCAD software.
- Place and follow up on purchase orders for new tooling and equipment.
- Verify design drawings for accuracy and compliance with industry standards.

- Strong attention to detail to ensure accuracy.

- Knowledge of engineering practices and industry standards.
- Advanced mathematical skills.
- Ability to perform physical measurements for layout creation.
- Coordinate multidisciplinary project reviews between departments and stakeholders.
- Create and follow up on problem follow-up sheets to monitor and guide activity completion.
- Experience with manufacturing tools and equipment to support prototype pilot builds.
- Availability for overtime and weekend work as required by project deliverables.
- Proficiency in MS Office for analysis and executive presentations.
- Previous experience in the Automotive/Truck industry is a plus.
- Bilingual in English/Spanish is a plus.
