Located in the Chicago area, our client remains the only importer of the authentic quartzite, granite and cristallo iceberg from Brazil, Borghini, Macchia Vecchia e Vagli Calacatta from Italy, Thassos from Greece and other prestigious slabs. Servicing commercial and residential clients, new builds or upgrades, the company provides a very personalized service for the best results.

The role and the candidate:

On behalf of our client, we are looking for a passionate and energetic A&D Sales Representative in Chicagoland. The ideal candidate has an entrepreneurial spirit, is proactive and a self-starter, eager to join a growing organization that offers realistic professional growth. He/she has already at least 2-3 years of experience in the industry, ideally an existing book of business of designers, fabricator or with a surface and flooring company or distributor selling to both the commercial and residential A&D community in Chicago.

Major Responsibilities

Develop new sales opportunities in the A&D community in the Chicagoland area by proactively contacting and promoting the company’s products.

Engage with design firms, constructions companies and provide training sessions, develop relationships with the aim to identify projects and provide specifications.

Participate in local industry events and trade shows.

Create a project pipeline and maintain contact with firms to ensure the project goes from specification to final order stage

What do you need to succeed:

• A minimum of 2 years of experience in the industry (preferably in the sale of surfaces)
• Proven sales experience
• An existing book of business in the A&D community is highly preferred.
• Passionate and goal-driven. Able to work well with minimal supervision. Independent but reliable.
• Superior verbal and written English communication skills.
• Driven, outgoing, passionate, positive and confident.
• A valid driver’s license and vehicle are required.

Compensation package: $80,000- $120,000. PTO, healthcare insurance offered.
