PRIVATE CHEF
UES (Park Avenue)
RESPONSIBILITES & JOB DESCRIPTION:
• Creating fresh seasonal meals for family of four (2 adults & 2 teenagers)
• Grocery shopping including supply procurement & provisioning
• Cooking for social gatherings, family parties and Holidays
• E uropean style, fish, chicken, great salads and being very creative with a
young & cool energy
• Also some Iranian cooking (family recipes, etc.)
• Cooking with a less is more attitude & NO need of keeping the fridge full
• Traveling with the family to their secondary residence (The Hamptons)
• Maintaining an impeccable and well-organized kitchen, pantry and
appliances.
• Collaborative approach with family to developing household menu
• NYC schedule: 5 days/week, lunch & dinner, flexibility is a must
• Hamptons’ schedule: Wednesday to Sunday evening (mid-June to Labor Day)
• Live-out in NYC but live-in accommodation provided in Bridgehampton
• Bridgehampton: few occasional trips between September and May
WORKING AGREEMENT & BENEFITS:
• Full time position with competitive salary offered (based on level of
experience)
• NO health insurance provided
• Vacation: 4 weeks (20 days) 2 weeks at Spring break & 2 weeks at Christmas
• Salary paid on a weekly basis or bi-weekly (to discuss with principal)
• Valid driver’s license (NY State) with a good driving record
• Car allowance when cooking in Bridgehampton
• Employer’s credit card for all expenses related to the family
