ESC has an exciting opportunity for an Inventory Planner working onsite in Herndon, VA to support our premier client’s inventory management team. The ideal candidate will have experience with supply chain inventory management and planning. This is a 4-month contract role that offers the opportunity for someone looking to work in a fast-paced, results-driven environment, contributing to our client’s world-class customer experience.

Responsibilities:

• Forecast Coordination: Ensure timely and accurate customer forecast inputs and track production actuals.
• Inventory Management: Align materials with forecasted demand, maintain stock levels, and mitigate supply risks.
• Risk Mitigation: Proactively address supply chain risks with ODMs.
• Performance Reporting: Prepare quarterly scorecards, align with ODMs, and host business reviews.
• Metrics and Issue Resolution: Monitor metrics, manage goals, and resolve supply chain issues.

Required Skills:

• 2+ years of experience with Supply Chain Inventory Management and Planning
• 1-2 years of experience with forecasting
• Strong execution of data and processes
• Must be highly organized, self-starting, and comfortable with business software such as Excel.
• Must be flexible, possess good written and oral communication skills, be team-oriented, and able to meet tight deadlines while working on several projects simultaneously.
