Summary (Position Description): As the Value Add Engineering manager, you will be instrumental in developing and managing our industrial refrigeration product portfolio. This portfolio consists of compressor packages, recirculator pump skids, and other customized value-added skids. You will also lead a talented engineering team responsible for working with customers, sales, and operations to deliver high quality products in a timely manner. You and your team will apply and troubleshoot ammonia packages in industrial applications such as food processing, ice production, ice rinks, chillers, and cold storage facilities.

Duties & Tasks :
Lead and mentor a team of engineers, technicians and drafters focused on the design and development of the value-add product line.
Oversee larger custom projects and ensure milestones and deliverables are met.
Communicate routinely with colleagues in other subsidiaries to stay in harmony with global design.
Partner with customer service, insides sales, production, and supply chain to drive profitability and meet customer expectations.
Drive innovation by gathering ideas and market requirements an execute a new product development.
Maintain existing products through sustainable processes and the Engineering Change Process.
Ensure our products meet relevant safety standards and regulatory codes by organizations such as IIAR, UL, ANSI, ASHRAE and ASME.
Demonstrate excellent customer interaction and communication skills.
Present technical trainings to other employees and customers.
Offer guidance as needed with respect to Solidworks, AutoCAD, and other relevant engineering tools.

Requirements:
- 8-10 years of engineering experience, preferably in custom manufacturing or project management
- 3-5 years working with Ammonia as a refrigerant
- 3+ years in a leadership or management role overseeing engineering team
Additional:
- Domestic and international travel may be necessary
- Travel may be up to 20% scheduled in advance
- Must have valid US Passport and driver’s license
Work Environment:
This job is performed in a professional office environment. This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines. The overall business is a manufacturing environment and at times may have to go into the manufacturing area wear proper PPE is required.
Physical Demands:
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to talk and hear. The employee frequently is required to stand; walk; bend; stoop; use hands; and reach with hands and arms. May be required to lift up to 25 pounds.
