Job Role: Technician - Medical / Surgical

Location: Bronx, NY 10461

Duration: 5+ Months

Shift: Day

Pay Rate: $22/hr - $25/hr

Certifications & Licenses: BLS, Medical Assistant

Required: OBGYN experience, Epic

Preferred: Phlebotomy experience

Skills:

1. Knowledge of gynecological and obstetric medical terminology.

2. Strong interpersonal skills for working with patients who may feel anxious or uncomfortable.

3. Attention to detail for accurate record-keeping and specimen collection.

Duties:

1. Assist in handling obstetric emergencies

2. Collect and prepare specimens (e.g., blood, urine, or vaginal swabs) for testing

3. Assist physicians during minor surgical procedures
