The RN, Lab Collections position is with a diagnostic testing solutions company providing a new service offering to their current Boca Raton clients: in-person patient sample pickup service. This field-based Registered Nurse will specialize in medical office and at-home patient sample collection services.

Schedule: M-F 9am-5pm

Territory: Boca Raton, FL and up to 15 miles of the surrounding area

Responsibilities Include:

• Conduct patient sample pickup/collection visits to Boca Raton clients and patients for shipment to the company's testing labs.
• Serve as an informational / educational resource to patients and clinic staff about the testing process, services, etc. Coordinate with the HCP to ensure timely and proper collection of specimens.
• Provide excellent customer service and establish relationships through repeat visits with clients (clinic staff, physicians, patients).
• Collaborate with internal multidisciplinary teams to effectively implement this new client service program.
• Ensure sample integrity and maintain confidentiality.
• Deliver daily collected samples to FedEx for shipment before the shipping deadline (~4:30pm).

Qualifications

• Current RN license in the state of Florida
• 2+ years of direct patient care experience
• Highly detail-oriented and organized, with excellent time management skills
• Able to work independently
• Reliable and dependable to safely and discreetly coordinate the timely shipment of patient samples every day
• Energetic personality with excellent customer service skills
• Valid driver's license and reliable automobile transportation

Misc:

• Mileage Reimbursement will be expensed at federal rate (currently $.67 per mile)
• No medical procedures will be performed
• Excellent growth opportunity as this new client service program is expanded into new territories/states
• Position is Contract to Hire, with medical benefits available during the contract period
