Field Service Technician

$30-35/HR.

As a Service Technician, you will deliver technical support, assist with product enhancements, and contribute to the successful implementation of projects for both customers and internal teams.

Field Service Technician Responsibilities:

• Act as the primary technical resource for all injection molding operations. Provide technical assistance, both written and verbal, to customers and internal sales teams.
• Support product development and business growth initiatives through design, evaluation, and qualification activities.
• Conduct troubleshooting and trial operations to resolve issues and optimize performance.
• Deliver technical training to customers, sales representatives, and internal staff.
• Manage machine installations, start-ups, repairs, maintenance, and upgrades.
• Promote and implement existing and new technologies to improve processes.
• Maintain product reference materials for field and internal use.
• Travel approximately 50% within North America to support client needs.

Field Service Technician Qualifications:

• 3-5 years of experience in the injection molding industry, with a background in technical service or field service.
• Strong knowledge of the plastics industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Experience leading meetings and delivering presentations.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications; familiarity with Dynamics 365 is a plus.
• Valid driver's license and passport required.
