Exciting Opportunity for a Teradata Developer! (No C2C, W2 Only)

Join a leading financial client on a 12-18 month contract and play a pivotal role in Financial Crimes Technology. If you're a data expert passionate about delivering innovative solutions in a dynamic environment, this role is for you!

Pay Rate: $62 - $65/hr

Location: Hybrid in Charlotte, NC (3 days per week onsite)

Must-Have Skills:

  • Teradata: 7+ years of experience
  • Scripting Knowledge: 7+ years of hands-on expertise
  • Unix and Autosys: 7+ years of experience
  • Financial Institution Experience: Strongly preferred

Key Responsibilities:

  • Develop, enhance, and maintain applications to meet business goals in the Financial Crimes Technology domain.
  • Collaborate with business partners to define system application requirements.
  • Design, code, test, debug, and document programs while supporting application maintenance.
  • Analyze and model data to support AML monitoring and surveillance data assets.
  • Drive innovation by applying in-depth knowledge of business requirements and technological alternatives.
  • Manage technical aspects, including Change Management, Maintenance, Platform Upgrades, and integration with upstream and downstream applications.
  • Automate CI/CD pipelines and support Agile methodologies .

Technical Expertise:

  • Teradata 16.x and advanced SQL/BTEQ scripting
  • TPT and Informatica 10.x
  • UNIX Shell scripting and Autosys
  • Cloudera CDP, Hadoop (Hive, Impala, PySpark, Scala)
  • SQL performance tuning and database-intensive development
  • Strong data modeling and provisioning skills
