Position Summary
The Claims Technology team is looking for a mid to senior level Business Analyst. Requirements include 3-5 years of experience (preferably in the financial industry), with a minimum of 3 years of experience with the agile methodology. As a Business Analyst you will work closely with business and technology partners to deliver solutions. Candidates must possess advanced problem solving skills, the willingness to learn and ability to effectively and concisely communicate verbally and in written/presentation format. Having a solid grasp on what it takes to deliver technical solution to resolve business needs is a must. The candidate will be working in a supportive and transparent team environment, while having the ability to research and resolve issues independently. Candidates must have good communication skills and the ability to engage and influence teams across technology and the business.

Required Skills
3-5 years experience as a business analyst, qa/uat lead, scrum master, or project manager - Experience working on a team with the Agile Methodology is a must have - Requirements gathering into Business Requirements Documents, wireframes, epic and story writing, flow diagrams, data mapping, test plans, use cases and scenarios - Experience with tools such as JIRA, SharePoint, WIKI, ALM for requirements and SDLC, knowledge sharing and documentation of requirements, and issue tracking
• Understand stakeholder needs to help envision and create a solution to solve a problem.
• Support cost/benefit analysis to align technology solutions to business strategy.
• Gather and catalog functional, non-functional, and technical requirements for stakeholder requests.
• Provide subject matter expertise within the business/technical domain to support scope and requirement decisions
• Determine the impact of modifications and enhancements to applications and assist with identifying integration points and the end-to-end solution design.
• Ensure changes to the application are compliant with bank standards and policies.
• For vendor applications, work closely with the vendor to ensure changes meet bank requirements including assisting with acceptance testing where needed.
• Assist users and development teams in application testing and troubleshooting and may help with test planning and configuring test solutions to validate functional and system needs.
• Document processes, procedures and workflows associated with applications.
• Participate in continuous improvement efforts to create, analyze, and improve processes and solutions.
• Create, maintain, and present training materials for end-users.
Desired Skills
Financial Services/Banking industry experience - claims experience a plus Solution Delivery Process - Understands all roles and responsibilities within their team and uses the tool sets within the software lifecycle. Governance & Stakeholder Management- Contributes to artifacts needed for governance forums. Understands stakeholder expectations and creates regular updates to keep stakeholders informed. Analytical Thinking - Demonstrates ability to identify root causes to solve complex problems in highly unstable situations. Business Products & Strategy - Basic awareness of products, services, business flows and strategy. Solution Design - Has knowledge of software development but has not been involved in hands-on application development/coding.Must Have Technical Agile tools (Jira)
