DATA SCIENTIST
Job Description Summary
We’re a fast-growing startup company, based in Austin, Texas, that is dedicated to helping businesses leverage AI with automated customer service responses.
Our system utilizes SQL queries through CRM/ERP API integrations to deliver highly accurate responses. As a network of advanced open-source large language models (LLMs), we perform multiple functions across the customer service process at production scale. In unison, we help companies to integrate our technology into their infrastructure. Our flagship technology improves the customer service team’s productivity by 10X.
We are seeking a passionate and resourceful Data Scientist with a "hacker " mindset to join our team and contribute to the development and deployment of cutting-edge, AI-powered decision support systems. In this dynamic role, you'll be involved in everything from data harvesting and schema design to building machine learning products and decision support tools.
You are determined to overcome technical challenges, and are excited to work in a constantly evolving technological landscape. You'll play a key role in analyzing large datasets, identifying patterns, and devising solutions that enhance our clients' capabilities. You'll work collaboratively with cross-functional teams to tackle complex, large-scale problems and help achieve shared goals.
Responsibilities
- Identify valuable data sources and automate mining/collection processes.
- Undertake preprocessing of structured and unstructured data.
- Analyze large amounts of data/information to discover and articulate trends and patterns.
- Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms.
- Combine models through ensemble modeling.
- Develop conclusive insights using statistical methods.
- Make and defend arguments using data and data-based insight.
Required Qualifications
- 4+ years' experience as a Data Scientist, Data Analyst or Data Engineer.
- Bachelor’s degree in Math, Science, Engineering
- Has working knowledge of multiple programming languages and statistical packages, as well as knowledge of dataset tools and Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning (AI/ML) tools.
- Critical thinker that is comfortable supporting collaborative problem solving in a team environment
- Has strong writing and communication skills.

Preferred Qualifications
- Experience developing and working with robotic process automation tools.
- Experience working on datasets involving facilities, built infrastructure, physical assets, and real property or real estate portfolios.
- Certifications or experience in project management or software development
- Experience supporting digital transformation of workflows and business processes.
- Interest in learning about asset management and developing resource management and investment models.
