Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate Agile ceremonies, including daily stand-ups, sprint planning, demos, and retrospectives, ensuring they are productive and efficient.
• Collaborate with the team to groom and refine the product backlog, clarifying requirements and ensuring stories are appropriately sized.
• Monitor and communicate the status of Epics and Stories, along with any risks or issues, to stakeholders and project management teams.
• Develop and track metrics to ensure timely delivery of high-quality solutions.
• Provide work effort estimates and assist in prioritization by communicating trade-offs and potential impacts.
• Mentor and coach team members in Agile methodologies to enhance their skills and improve overall Scrum maturity.
• Proactively identify and eliminate roadblocks or conflicts that hinder the team’s progress.
• Oversee the successful delivery of complex, cross-functional projects while managing concurrent workstreams and implementation activities.
• Anticipate bottlenecks, mitigate risks, escalate issues when needed, and make balanced trade-offs between business needs and technical limitations.
• Demonstrate the ability to understand and interpret technical information effectively.

Job Requirements

• Minimum of 3 years of experience leading Agile teams as a Scrum Master or Agile Project Manager.
• Strong understanding of Scrum frameworks, techniques, and artifacts (e.g., definition of done, Epics, user stories, automated testing, backlog refinement).
• Excellent communication and servant leadership abilities.
• Bachelor’s degree in Business, Computer Science, Information Systems Management, or a related field from an accredited institution, with relevant experience in Agile and project management.
• Hands-on IT delivery experience, including software development expertise.
• Proficiency in Agile/Kanban software development practices.
• Agile certifications (e.g., PMI-ACP, Certified Scrum Master) are preferred but not required.
• Background in financial services is a plus.
