Position Title: Graphic Designer & Communications Manager
Hours: M-F 8am-4:30pm
Location: 100% in-office
Key Responsibilities:
- Design print and digital marketing materials such as brochures, eblasts, flyers, social media graphics, reports, presentations, event signage, and annual publications.
- Ensure consistent visual identity and branding across all platforms (print, digital, and social media).
- Collaborate with the marketing team to create materials that align with the organization's mission and campaign goals.
- Write and edit engaging, clear, and concise copy for marketing materials, blog posts, social media, and internal communications.
- Proofread and edit design work to ensure accuracy, consistency, and proper grammar.
- Review pre-press materials and other content to ensure they meet production standards and reflect the brand voice.
- Manage multiple projects, ensuring deadlines are met and quality is upheld.
- Collaborate with colleagues to brainstorm and execute campaigns from concept to completion.
- Lead the development and upkeep of the organization's visual identity, including logos, color schemes, typography, and style guides.
- Ensure all content aligns with brand standards and effectively communicates our mission.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Graphic Design, Visual Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- 4-8+ years of experience in graphic design, communications, and social media management
- Familiarity with basic web design (HTML, CSS) and SEO best practices for social media.
- Experience with video editing, motion graphics, and animation tools (e.g., After Effects, Premiere Pro).
- Familiarity with email marketing platforms (e.g., MailChimp, Constant Contact).
- Proven track record in graphic design, writing, and communications, with a portfolio showcasing both print and digital work.
- Excellent writing and editing skills, with the ability to refine copy for clarity, tone, and consistency.
- Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign) and other design tools.
- Strong project management skills and the ability to prioritize multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience with content management systems (e.g., WordPress) and analytics tools (e.g., Google Analytics, social media insights).
- High attention to detail and commitment to quality.
- Ability to work both independently and collaboratively within a team.
