Role Description

We are seeking a motivated Junior to Mid-level Bankruptcy | Commercial Litigation Attorney to join our team. This role involves managing a range of responsibilities, including drafting and arguing motions, preparing for court trials, conducting depositions, and providing strategic legal counsel on bankruptcy and commercial litigation cases.

Key Responsibilities

  • Draft and argue motions in bankruptcy and commercial litigation matters.
  • Represent clients in court trials and hearings.
  • Conduct and manage depositions effectively.
  • Provide legal counsel and strategy for bankruptcy and business dispute cases.
  • Collaborate with senior attorneys and clients to develop case strategies.
  • Manage case files and ensure compliance with court deadlines and procedures.

Qualifications

Educational Background:

  • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school.
  • Active admission to the State Bar of Texas.

Experience and Skills:

  • Strong knowledge and experience in bankruptcy and commercial litigation.
  • Proficiency in drafting motions and conducting depositions.
  • Hands-on experience navigating court proceedings and representing clients in trials.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively within a team.
