Key Responsibilities:
- Lead & Operate Molding Machines: Set up and operate molding machines with precision while leading and guiding the team to ensure optimal production quality.
- Use & Maintain 6-Axis Robots: Operate and maintain 6-axis robots used in the production process, ensuring smooth, efficient, and precise robotic movements to improve productivity. Perform routine maintenance and troubleshooting to keep the robots in optimal working condition.
- Team Leadership: Take charge of the day-to-day operations of the production floor, ensuring that the team follows best practices and stays on task.
- Quality Control: Oversee the monitoring of production to ensure parts meet quality standards. Address issues proactively and provide guidance to the team as needed.
- Inspect Finished Parts: Lead the inspection process, ensuring that parts are defect-free, and make adjustments to maintain high-quality production.
- Routine Maintenance & Troubleshooting: Perform and oversee machine maintenance, lubrication, and troubleshooting to minimize downtime and keep production running smoothly.
- Efficient Setups & Changeovers: Lead and assist with smooth transitions between production runs, ensuring minimal downtime and keeping the team aligned during changeovers.
- Documentation & Reporting: Maintain accurate records of production activities and ensure compliance with company policies and safety protocols.
- Safety & Teamwork: Foster a safe working environment by adhering to all safety guidelines and actively supporting your team in doing the same.
- Versatility & Support: Step into various roles across the production floor, supporting your team as needed and ensuring effective operations across all functions.
What We’re Looking For:
- Leadership Experience: Proven ability to lead and motivate a team, with experience managing day-to-day operations in a production environment.
- Hands-On Expertise: Solid knowledge of plastic injection molding processes, tooling, and materials.
- Robot Experience: Experience with the operation, programming, and maintenance of 6-axis robots in a production setting.
- Blueprint Mastery: Ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and work instructions to ensure parts are manufactured to precise specifications.
- Mechanical Aptitude: Strong skills in troubleshooting, maintaining, and repairing molding machinery and robotic systems to avoid production interruptions.
- Problem-Solving & Decision Making: Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to make quick decisions that keep production moving forward efficiently.
- Team-Oriented: While you’ll work independently, your leadership will help foster a collaborative, positive environment where the entire team succeeds.
- Detail-Oriented: Exceptional attention to detail and strong communication skills to keep operations smooth and clear.
- Tech-Savvy: Comfortable with using Microsoft Office Suite or similar software to maintain accurate production records.
- Background Check: Must be able to pass a background check.
Education & Experience:
- Required: High school diploma or equivalent.
- Preferred: At least 5 years of experience in plastic injection molding or related field, with leadership experience preferred.
Physical Demands:
- Ability to stand, bend, and stoop for extended periods.
- Able to lift up to 50 pounds as needed.
- Excellent visual acuity for reading instructions and inspecting parts.
- Flexibility to travel domestically if required.

Pay:
$32.00 - $35.00 per hour based on experience.
Schedule:
12-hour shifts, with options for day, evening, night, and overnight shifts.
