Job Title: Human Resources Generalist

Position Overview
We are seeking a detail-oriented and proactive HR Generalist to manage key human resources functions, including compliance, employee records administration, benefits, recruitment, and HR systems management. This role is instrumental in maintaining company policies, ensuring legal compliance, and fostering a positive workplace culture.
Key Responsibilities
HR Operations & Compliance:
- Assist in the development and execution of HR policies and procedures, ensuring alignment with business operations.
- Oversee the company’s time and attendance system for accurate tracking.
- Maintain and manage employee records , including attendance, disciplinary actions, and safety compliance.
- Administer benefits, compensation, and performance management programs .
- Ensure compliance with local and national employment laws , recommending updates as needed.
- Provide HR guidance on employee relations, grievances, performance, and organizational changes .
Talent Acquisition & Employee Engagement:
- Support recruitment efforts, including candidate screening, employment verifications, and interviews .
- Manage relationships with temporary workforce agencies .
- Oversee and enhance the onboarding process to ensure a smooth new hire experience.
- Plan and implement company social activities and corporate communication efforts.
- Supervise the HR Intern , ensuring development and task execution.
HR Systems & Reporting:
- Administer and optimize the Dayforce HRIS system , including managing SQL queries.
- Develop HR metrics, reports, and queries to support strategic business objectives.
- Ensure data integrity and system functionality, particularly during updates and patches.
- Maintain and manage employee benefits data feeds (e.g., medical, dental, COBRA, life insurance, 401(k)).
- Manage HR communication platforms.
- Conduct compliance audits , including EEOC, benefits, and accrued vacation liabilities .
Qualifications & Skills
- Education: High school diploma or equivalent (GED) required; Bachelor’s degree in a related field preferred .
- Experience: Minimum 2 years of hands-on HR experience .
- Strong understanding of national employment laws and regulations .
- Experience with HRIS platforms, particularly Dayforce, preferred .
