*Job Summary*

We are seeking a highly skilled and compassionate Registered Nurse (RN) to join our medical trauma unit. This is a 36-bed unit providing patient-centered, direct nursing care, including telemetry monitoring, to a diverse patient population. This role is ideal for individuals who thrive in a fast-paced, supportive, and team-oriented environment.


*Responsibilities*
* Provide therapeutic care to patients with cardiac, respiratory, renal, and other medical conditions.
* Assess acute changes in patients, monitor and analyze heart rhythms, interpret ECGs, identify arrhythmias, and respond to emergencies.
* Administer prescribed medications and monitor vital signs in accordance with established protocols.
* Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including nurses, providers, and specialists, to ensure comprehensive patient care.
* Monitor, document, and communicate patient conditions using computerized documentation systems.
* Participate in patient and family education to support discharge planning and ongoing care.
* Maintain cultural and diversity awareness when interacting with patients, visitors, and coworkers.

*Qualifications*
* *License/Certification:* Current Registered Nurse License in Virginia or a Current Multistate Compact License.
* *Experience:*
* Minimum of 1 year of recent RN experience in an acute care hospital setting preferred.
* Candidates with at least 6 months of recent acute care RN experience will be considered.
* Candidates with strong experience in a Skilled Nursing or Long-Term Acute Care (LTAC) setting may also be considered.

*Education*
* Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing (BSN preferred).

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: $31.50 - $45.00 per hour
