Piper Companies is seeking a
Microbiology Associate to join an innovative pharmaceutical manufacturing company. This position is 100% onsite and will ensure quality control by conducting walk-throughs, collecting and testing samples, maintaining accurate documentation, and supporting equipment maintenance.
Responsibilities of the Microbiology Associate include:
- Conduct quality walk-throughs across production, testing, and warehouse areas to ensure compliance.
- Collect and test carbon, surface, and air samples, including gram staining, pH, and conductivity testing.
- Maintain precise and accurate documentation for all processes and results.
- Perform standard material testing, including endotoxin, bioburden, microbial enumeration, and plating.
- Support routine preventive maintenance and calibration of laboratory equipment.
Qualifications for the Microbiology Associate include:
- 0 to 2 years of experience in cGMP environment.
- Familiarity with FDA and EMA regulations in the biopharmaceutical industry.
- Preferred hands-on experience with batch record review.
- Preferred experience in product disposition processes.
- Bachelor's degree in Microbiology or relevant science.
