What is the opportunity?
As Program Manager, Sales Support Training & Development, you will provide delivery, administration, and facilitation support focusing on various Associate and Associate Advisor roles.
WMC T&D delivers innovative training solutions that include In-Person and Virtual Training programs, online content, and Webinars. This role will be instrumental in illuminating the bigger picture, connecting the dots, building best practices, and broadening possibilities. Bringing your deep understanding of the supported roles and the RBC Dominion Securities.
An understanding of L&D, as well as relationship management and communication skills are key to your success.
What will you do?
The role will be responsible for innovative training solutions including the design and delivery of a customized virtual and in-person classroom offering, resource materials, and timely production.
Develop and maintain new program offerings as needed.
Liaise with external vendors who provide additional resources to program participants.
Liaise with Training & Development colleagues as subject matter experts on professional development best practices by leveraging tools, systems, and programs (including internal RBC systems). Also, maintain close relationships with partners in Wealth Management Canada Head Office to incorporate in the offering.
Project-manage all the logistical requirements for the training sessions ensuring seamless delivery; this includes sending/managing meeting notices and invitations, booking meeting rooms, organizing logistics if applicable, pre-work materials, program support, and surveys.
Create and maintain training materials as required.
Maintain certain online courses.
Proactively partner with respective Branch Directors and Branch Operations Managers, Regional Branch Operations Managers, and Regional Directors to understand the learning needs of their teams and track database and recommend areas where potential development may be needed.
What do you need to succeed?
Must haves:
Deep understanding of RBC Dominion Securities business and culture.
At least 3 years’ experience preferably in the roles you will be supporting.
Innovative growth mindset.
Communication skills.
Willingness to pivot and evolve with changing priorities.
Nice-to-have:
Experience in learning design, learning program delivery, learning evaluation, e-learning, and facilitation.
Bilingual.
Experience with change management and project management.
