WHAT IS THE OPPORTUNITY?
As the Senior Manager, IT Issues Management you will be responsible for leading the IT risk issue management for RBC, including assessing, and developing plans in an effort to mitigate IT risk to RBC. This role will require project management, and coordination with various teams in Global Cyber Security (GCS).
Manages the day-to-day operations and effectiveness of security-related programs and initiatives; assesses the impact associated with potential threats and solutions required to eliminate or minimize threats. Typically manages 2 or more specialized departments comprised of supervisors, managers, professionals, and/or large numbers of operational support employees.
WHAT WILL YOU DO?
Review and risk assess IT Risk Issues in alignment with IT Standards and IT Risk Management Processes.
Operationalization of new processes related to IT Issue Management and IT Issues exceptions.
Act as the single-point-of-contact on the IT Risk strategy/roadmaps. Continually engage and communicate with senior business stakeholders on the progress and status of Initiatives within the portfolio of work so that their feedback is incorporated as part of portfolio level planning.
Drive the creation of Management Reporting to provide management with an aggregated view of the IT Issues and Risks while identifying patterns of risk concentration.
Leading in the development, implementation and enforcement of organization-wide IT Standard exception monitoring and reporting.
Monitoring and assessing business needs against security concerns and recommending necessary changes to enhance information systems security.
WHAT DO YOU NEED TO SUCCEED?
Must have:
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent experience.
5-7 years’ experience working in large IT organizations.
5-7 years’ experience in Cyber Security Management/Information Security Management/IT Network Security.
Experience using enterprise GRC tools/processes.
Process Management.
Executive Reporting.
Nice-to-have:
Internal or External Audit Experience.
CRISC certification.
