Maintenance Technician I

Position Summary

As a Maintenance Technician I, you will play a key role in ensuring the safety, organization, and functionality of our facility and equipment. You will conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshoot mechanical issues, and perform equipment repairs to maintain smooth production operations. This role requires a proactive approach to maintaining inventory, safety protocols, and compliance, along with the flexibility to support the facility throughout the harvest season.

Primary Responsibilities

• Conduct preventive and corrective maintenance on machinery and equipment, focusing on safety and compliance.
• Quickly respond to equipment malfunctions and perform scheduled repairs as needed.
• Support team members with equipment knowledge, participate in team meetings, and maintain a positive, collaborative work environment.
• Maintain accurate records in the CMMS system, complete preventive maintenance tasks, and track inventory needs.
• Work closely with the Maintenance Supervisor and Manager to coordinate maintenance schedules, avoiding production disruptions.
• Adhere to safety regulations, complete pre-job hazard analyses, and use lockout/tagout (LOTO) protocols during repairs.

Minimum Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least one year of maintenance experience in a manufacturing facility.
• Sit-down forklift experience and basic computer skills.
• Strong communication skills, attention to detail, and ability to work both independently and as part of a team.

Preferred Qualifications

• Certified Maintenance Reliability Technician certification.
• Experience in predictive and precision maintenance.
• Plumbing experience.
