The Department has a new major in Music Technology and also provides academic minors in Dance Studies, Dance Performance and Choreography, Music Studies, Music Performance, and Arts Entrepreneurship. The Performing Arts and Technology department at North Carolina State University seeks applications for applied music lecturers in all instrument areas to provide individual instruction for students who register for applied lessons. Responsibilities include teaching 13 weekly, 45-minute lessons per student and participation in the end-of-semester juried exams. This position is part-time; the time commitment and compensation are determined by the number of assigned students. Please note: This position is based on need and availability. Qualifications: Minimum Education and Experience: Requires master’s degree, an equivalent degree, or equivalent professional experience.
