This role offers the opportunity to work on 1st, 2nd, or 3rd shifts, operating and programming a variety of advanced machines. Responsibilities Operate and maintain Hydromat rotary transfer machines. Read and interpret blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications to determine machining operations. Adjust machine controls to ensure optimal performance and adherence to specifications. Monitor machine operations to detect malfunctions or deviations from standards and make necessary adjustments. Perform routine maintenance on machines to ensure proper functioning and minimize downtime. Inspect finished products for accuracy, quality, and adherence to specifications, using precision measuring instruments. Troubleshoot and resolve issues that arise during the machining process, such as tool wear or material irregularities. Collaborate with team members, including engineers and supervisors, to optimize production processes and achieve production goals. Follow established safety guidelines and maintain a clean and organized work area. Document production activities, including machine settings, tool changes, and quality control measurements. Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent; additional technical education or certification in machining is a plus. 2 years of experience as a Machinist or Machine Operator. Strong knowledge of machining principles, techniques, and tools. Proficiency in reading and interpreting blueprints, engineering drawings, and specifications. Ability to operate precision measuring instruments, such as micrometers, calipers, and gauges. Knowledge of workplace safety procedures. Experience with Hydromat rotary transfer machines.
