An esteemed Am Law 200 firm is currently in search of a highly skilled and experienced Labor & Employment Associate in their Chicago office

The ideal candidate should possess:

• 2-6 years of comprehensive experience in employment litigation, employment counseling, and traditional labor work, demonstrating a strong understanding of labor and employment law intricacies.
• Juris Doctor degree from an accredited law school.

Duties:

• Drafting pleadings, motions, and other legal documents for employment litigation cases.
• Providing legal advice and counsel to clients on a wide range of labor and employment matters, including compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws and regulations.
• Assisting with internal investigations into allegations of workplace misconduct, discrimination, harassment, and retaliation.
• Participating in negotiations and settlement discussions with opposing parties in employment disputes.
• Providing support to Senior Attorneys in complex employment litigation matters, including trial preparation and courtroom appearances.

Compensation and Benefits:

• This position offers Cravath-scale salary range spanning from $260,000 to $365,000, reflective of the candidate's qualifications and experience.
• A very reasonable annual billable hours target of 1850.
