Actively seeking a bilingual HR Generalist in Mississauga. This position will report to the Director of HR and work closely with facility management to assure staffing levels. Responsibilities:
- Full cycle recruitment: Sourcing and collaborating with managers to onboard new employees
- Sourcing and screening applicants for job openings
- Working with Managers in QC, Ottawa & NS to support their open requisitions
- Coordination of interviews for internal managers Management of shortlisted applicants necessary background checks Employee Relations for all employees including Management & Executives Work closely with agency contacts for recruitment Assure compliance for policies and procedures.
- Health & Safety initiatives to assure compliance
- Working within HR legislation to assure compliance throughout all departments
- Coordination of new hire schedule
- Prepare of recognition communications
- Ensure up to date employee files
Qualifications:
- 3-4 Years HR Generalist or Recruitment Experience
- Fluent Bilingual – French/English as this role will speak with QC employees
- University or College Education, preferably within an HR focused course
- Strong understanding of Canadian employment laws and best practices
- Ability to multi-task and work closely with management when required
- Strong communication skills to roll out new processes when required
- Ability to manage projects and timelines
- CHRP/CHRL designation
- Please note that this is a contract term position with the likelihood of transitioning to a permanent opportunity
- Hybrid role – Working 2 days in office per week
